Hello,

Our customer use the DRV8824, ask us How about the dead time control of this device.

I check the datasheet and have a question.

I see the tDEAD. But I cannot understand about the relation between tDEAD,tF and tR.

I check the datasheet of DRV8800, it is very clear spec.

My understanding is below attach file.

Is my understanding correct?

Hello Aoyama-san,

Thank you for the graph explanation, your understanding is correct.

The reason why the spec. naming is different is because in the DRV8800, there is a direct connection from the input to the output, hence the "delay". That is not the case for the DRV8824. I hope this helps.
