DRV8711: Behavior of SDATO Pin During Write Operation

Part Number: DRV8711

Hi,

I'm interested in SPI-daisy-chaining several DRV8711 devices. The intent is to have SCLK and SCS signals connected to each 8711 device, MOSI line of the microcontroller connected to the SDATI input of the first 8711, and SDATO of the first device fed to the SDATI of the next one, and so on. However, it's not clear if SDATO pin is actually enabled during WRITE operation. The data sheet isn't clear on that but it seems that there're some implications that SDATO might actually be disabled.

Could you please verify the functionality of the SDATO pin during WRITE operation? Will serial data train clocked into the first device during first 16 rising edges of SCLK signal be shifted out of the SDATO pin starting the 16-th falling edge of SCLK signal?

Also, what are the values of pull-down resistors on SLEEPn, RESET, AIN1, AIN2, BIN1, BIN2, SCS, SCK, SDATI inputs? Are they all the same?

Thank you, Michael
