Supposedly, I have a 30V variable, 3 A power supply.  When connected to the DRV, the power supply loads down and will not deliver 24 V.

What is the minimum current requirement for the DRV8711EVM?  Can you think of any, other potential problem that would have this effect.

    Hi Eric,

    When the power supply loads down, have you enabled the DRV8711? Do you have a motor connected?

    If the motor is connected, please disconnect the motor to begin. Next set all the registers to the settings in the user guide.

    The current requirement depends on the motor, the register settings, and the system voltage.
