DRV8813: the supply current

Hi all.

My customer evaluated DRV8812 and DRV8813 with same board.

The supply current of DRV8813 is lower than DRV8812.
My customer ask me the reason.
I think that it is caused by low Ron.

Do you have a clear reason?
If you have it, please tell me comment.

    Hi Ogane-san,

    How much difference is observed between the two devices?

    There are several possibilities. The most probable are:

    The current regulation varies from device to device. This variation can be due to the VREF voltage variance or the internal comparator.
    The internal oscillator varies from device to device. A slower internal oscillator can cause more current ripple reducing the supply current.

    the defference is about 200mA between the DRV8812 and DRV8813.
