DRV8332: Driver data sheet says can drive up to 8A continuous, but pins are 0.27mm a side

Part Number: DRV8332
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8301

Hello,

I am new to Motor Drives.

I am looking at DRV 8332 to drive a Brushless motor. I have a few questions:

1. The datasheet says DRV 8332 can supply up to 8A continuous. The pins on the physical component are only 0.27mm with square cross-section. I was wondering how the device can supply 8A.

2. Do you have any other drivers which have a higher current rating.

Thanks.
