DRV8301: Safe Torque Off function (STO) by disabling PVDD1

I need to realize a safe torque off function (STO) with the DRV8301. Can I turn off the voltage on pin PVDD1 (29) while the three half bridges remain powered? The following image illustrates my approach:

What are the maximum ratings of the pins GH_x, BST_x, SH_x and GL_x in general and regarding PVDD1. In the datasheet I have not found any specifications.

Are there any other issue I will have to consider?

Hi Thomas,

You will have to decide what meet your needs for safe torque off.

There may be paths that are not accounted when disconnecting PVDD1 as shown. An example would be parasitic diodes to PVDD1 through SH_X that could keep the device powered.

Ok. I see. Where are these parasitic diodes? Can you show me them in the block diagram?

Have you got any news about this issue? We are currently stuck in our development and need a well-grounded advice.

Are the gate drivers in the DRV8301 similar to for example the LM5107 regarding the internal structure and the maximum ratings?
