Is it an ESD diode or a Zener diode offers clamping on GHx-SHx?
Considering there is absolute maximum volume 12V spec for GHx-SHx.

That's a Zener diode intended to clamp the gate Voltage when the Vgs is greater than the 12V we spec for this. The first paragraph in section 7.3.8.3.2 of the datasheet briefly describes this behavior.
