DRV8432: How to brake the motor?

In a typical H Bridge, the BRAKE can be implemented by turning on high 2 side mosfets and tuning off 2 low side mosfets (or vice versa) .    From datasheet, if RESET_AB and RESET_CD are in LOW, all mosfet will be in high-Z impedance. How to BRAKE the motor by DRV8432?

    Hi Shiwei,

    Assuming you are using 2FB (M3,M2,M1 = 000 or 001) set RESET_AB to a logic high and PWM_A and PWM_B to logic low. This will enable the two low side FETs at OUT_A and OUT_B.

    The same can be done with the C and D outputs.
