DRV8305: FLIP_OTSD Function Description

Hello Team;

Could you explain FLIP_OTSD function (Address= 0x9 Bit 10), What means of "FLIP"?
Default = 0x0 means OTSD(Over Temp ShutDown) is off(Not functional)
So, if I set b'1 ,causing OTSD= Enabled(?), and if I set b'1 again, Does it will be Disabled or Enabled?

What if I set b'0, OTSD always Disabled?

Please tell me function for this.

Hi Macs-san,

The FLIP_OTSD bit controls the OTSD differently depending on the DRV8305 device.

In the DRV8305 and DRV8305xQ devices, OTSD is enabled by default. Writing the FLIP_OTSD bit to a b'1 disables the OTSD as shown below

BIT	R/W	NAME	DEFAULT	DESCRIPTION
10	R/W	FLIP_OTSD	0x0	b'0 -- Enable OTSD
				b'1 -- Disable OTSD

NOTE: The statement below has been edited to change "N" to "E"

In the DRV8305xNEdevice, OTSD is disabled by default. Writing the FLIP_OTSD bit to a b'1 enables the OTSD as shown below
