DRV8703-Q1: Use of the sense resistor

Hi Team,

Is the use of the sense resistor required by the DRV8703-Q1? If it is not, can you please let me know how to configure the SN and SP pins.

    Hi Jared,

    The sense resistor is not required. If you do not use the sense resistor, connect SN and SP together and to the source of the low-side FET of half-bridge 1.

    From the datasheet: "Ensure that the SP pin is always connected to the source of the low-side FET of half-bridge 1, even when the sense amplifier is not used.".

    SO should be floating.
