Power Supply for ISO54xx: High Side driver

Hi, I am trying to figure out, how to design power supply correctly for high side operation with ISO54xx driver. If ground pottencial is connected to emmiter (or source for SiC FET) then power supply (for example some kind of buck converter) should be grounded with emmiter as well. It seems bit crazy to me, especially with 3 phase inverter with 600V DC link. Could you show proper design of power supply for high side operation with some kind of schematic?

Hello P.K.,

Thank you for your interest in the ISO54xx devices.

For a buck converter for example, the emitter of the high-side FET will be connected to the switch node and the emitter of the low-side FET will be connected to the output ground.
