DRV8412: PWM current control

Hello,

Our customer are searching a stepper motor driver able to output current over 3A.

I think there are only the DRV8412 and DRV8432.

Does the DRV8412 have PWM current control function?

The customer use a half stepping and 1/4 stepping mode.

Hi Aoyama-san,

The DRV8412 does not have PWM current control function internally. The current control would have to be added externally.

There are a couple of options available:

1) Two DRV8840 with PH/EN and I4:I0 inputs.
2) The DRV8711 with external FETs
