DRV8305-Q1: Charge pump capacitor

On the datasheet, the charge pump capacitor(CP1H-CP1L , CP2H-CP2L) is mentioned as it is 0.047uF.

If the charge pump is larger than 0.047uF (such as 0.1uF or 1uF), what happen to the operation? We understand 0.047uF is recommended.

However our customer are concerned as the FMEA point of view .

We appreciate if you could give us the detail(the behavior of this device) in the case of that (a large capacitor).

Hi Hamamoto-san,

Please confirm you would have CP1H-CP1L and CP2H-CP2L capacitors at 0.1 or 1uF. VCPL would remain as 1uF and VCPH would remain at 2.2uF.

Is that correct?

Our customer would like have CPxH-CPxL capacitor at 0.1uF or more.(0.1uF is prefer.)

If the capacitor of CP1H-CP1L and CP2H-CP2L is larger than 0.047uF which is recommended at datasheet, what is happen to the device operation?
