DRV8840: nFAULT pin is floating ?

If  customer set the nFAULT as floating, is there any problem?

When they set the nFAULT as floating, there occurred stopping issue of DRV8840 in some case,

So they set nFAULT with Pull-up and then the issue cleared.

    Hi Danny,

    Does the firmware react differently if the nFAULT pin is seen as a low?

    Floating the nFAULT pin should not cause any problems with functionality. The device should operate the same with the pin floating or pulled up.

    The nFAULT pin is used to designate a fault condition.
