DRV8833: Can it work well with 3s Li-ion battery（3.7V×3）？

Hi：

I’m dong a project with DRV8833 to drive 2 motor. I notice that the voltage range is form 2.7V to 10.8V. If i use 3s Li-ion (3.7V*3),is it safe?

Hi Wang,

A fully charged Li-ion battery could be 4.2V, so using 3s Li-ion would not be safe.

You can feed the 3s batteries into a regulator to lower the voltage; this would be safe.
