I am looking to decide how to connect an DRV8860 to my MCU (note I am using a TI CC3200). I understand the serial communication is not SPI, but it seems quite similar. I want to know if I should plan to bit-bang this protocol (any GPIO pin) or if I can use any functionality from a SPI port on the MCU.
