Hello Motor Driver Team, please see attached schematic and question below, could you help with any suggestions for our customer?
Connectors J5 and J6 go to DC brush motors.
When I have ESD ~ 6 kV to the body of motor the chip shuts off and signal FAULT is active.
I have to reset chip.
Is there a way to avoid/ reduce effect of ESD? Perhaps grounding, tranzorb or anything else?
