Motor Driver Recommendation

Hi,

I'm part of a Sr. Design team at Florida State University, we're looking for a driver and a bridge or an ESC for three different motors which operate under the following max ratings:

P = 1.2 kW

V = 48V

RPM = 5000 RPM

We're hoping to control the input algorithm and even potentially run our own code. Which of your motor drivers, and bridges or ESC do you recommend?

Hi Carlos,

I recommend looking at our brushless gate drivers portfolio. We have several products that will operate up to 60 V. These devices are designed to drive external FETs, but they contain a variety of safety features to help protect the motor and H-bridge. To use these devices, you need to choose your own FETs to meet your voltage and current requirements for your motor.
