DRV2605L: Open loop and Closed Loop for LRA

I have just started using the DRV2605L with LRA vibration motors and I have a few questions.

1) Can the LRA operate in Closed Loop operation when in RTP playback mode?

2) There is a register setting to determine whether it is open loop or closed loop with ERM but I couldn't find an equivalent for LRA. How do I set the device to run in open loop or run in closed loop when in LRA mode.

3) Since Open loop in LRA has Auto resonance tracking, as well as overdrive at startup and braking, What is the difference between operating in Open loop mode and Closed loop mode when using an LRA vibration motor.

    Hi Ben,

    Please find my inputs below:
    1) The LRA can operate in both auto-resonance and open loop mode in RTP mode. You should read the description of Control3 (Address: 0x1D) bit 0.

    2) Please refer to  Control3 (Address: 0x1D) bit 0.
    3) Auto-resonance and open loop are different modes, please refer to the previous answers. You can also read the following sections of the data sheet for more information:
    8.3.3 Open-Loop Operation for LRA
    8.5.1 Auto-Resonance Engine Programming for the LRA
