DRV8302: OUTPUT to GATE of transistor

Hi all,

I have problem with DRV I will set PWM to INH and 5V to INL but PWM from DRV to transistor is wrong... In picure is voltage from MPU vs DRV.

Next problem is if I set INL from 5V to gnd.. INH (same H bridge..) do 1 pulse and short circuit for moment. It is visible in pictures too.

Hi Petr,

I cannot open your .rar file. Can you please resend as a zip file or attach your pictures another way?

Also, are you using a TI evaluation module board, or have you developed your own board?

Hi Petr,

I think that your issue is related to the gate charge required to turn on the FETs. Double-check the gate charge in the FET datasheet and make sure the DRV8302 can supply the appropriate drive current to achieve turn on and turn off times you require for your PWM.

Hello Petr ,

Do you apply enough dead time from MCU. If you don't use enough dead time you may increase the resistance on the DTC pin.
