BOOSTXL-DRV8301: Finding number of poles for RC brushless motor

Part Number: BOOSTXL-DRV8301

Hi,

I am working through the InstaSPIN labs and I want to use some brushless RC hobby motor.

I want to find the number of poles(pairs) in order to put it in the user.h file.

The code for the motor (taken from invoice) is "BL-O D28X26/1100KV/A2208/7". The motor doesn't have any label on it.

I read this thread https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000/f/902/t/422385

#define USER_MOTOR_NUM_POLE_PAIRS       (7)

I uploaded here youtu.be/fI5CdGRiAqo the procedure that I followed in order to obtain these numbers.
