Hello,
Our customer use the DRV10970, have a question about PWM input.
How much the minimum pulse width of PWM input?
Is it 2us?
Best Regards,
Naoki Aoyama

Hello Naoki Aoyama,
Maximum PWM frequency that is allowed is 100kHz, this is a period of 10µs. Since we can split up the period into a percentage (e.g. 1%) for the pulse width within a duty cycle, then we get 100ns. Since PWM duty cycle determines the speed command, 1% duty cycle will mean the motor will be running at 1% of the speed (which is not a typical use-case for customers using the DRV10970).
Note this is the minimum width of the PWM input because the maximum PWM frequency is assumed to be 100kHz. These values will only get larger if the PWM frequency is smaller.
Best,
