Hi,

If I want to overwrite the EEPROM register, do I have to follow any procedure.

Hello Archana,

The formal procedure to write to the EEPROM on the DRV10987 is shown below, this is copied from the EEPROM section of the DRV10987 datasheet.

Otherwise, if you are using the DRV10987EVM, it is as easy as clicking the eeWrite button in the GUI. More information from this E2E thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/applications/motor_drivers/f/38/t/673732
