Could I input the PWM signal at EN pin on DRV8838 ?

I know the DRV8837 support the PWM control, but my exist hardware is DRV8838 and it needed speed control .

I 'm not sure if I can input the PWM at EN pin on DVR8838

Hi,

In case of the DRV8838, you can drive by PWMing the enable pin and send a logic high/low voltage level to the Phase pin to control the motor spinning direction.

Look at Section 6.6 and the DRV8838 timing diagram above in this section to learn more.

The PWM range for the ENABLE is 0 to 250kHz.

Thank you very much for your replay soon.
I would like to clarify your recommendation for the switching function.
You mention to control the speed by controlling the frequency of the PH switching.
Is that mean input the PWM signal at PH pin not EN pin?
My understand is switching the direction by PH pin and PWM control by EN pin.

Hi Yuga,

I made an incorrect interpretation of the PH-EN pins of the DRV8838. See modified answer above. You can drive by making the EN pin have PWM input.
