DRV8412: Use of Rsense in Full Bridge Mode

1> What is the use of Rsense resistor in Full Bridge Mode.? Datasheet says its optional.Is this resistor for external sensing or DRV uses it internally?

2> Can we connect it to OUT_B or OUT_D instead of OUT_A or OUT_C ?

Hi Abhishek,

Rsense resistor is used for sensing the current externally. The DRV8412 does not use the resistor.

Yes, you can connect it to OUT_B or OUT_D instead of OUT_A or OUT_C.

You can also connect the sense resistors between GND_X and GND if desired.
