DRV10970: PWM input - Duty cycle step size/resolution

Hello colleagues,

my customer has tested the DRV10970 and figured out that DCstep for the PWM is around 1% which is not given in the datasheet at to high for his application ( 0.1% would be perfect).

I have recommend him the DRV10794 with a DCstep from 0.2%. do we have devices with a high accuracy at the PWM input?

The highest resolution that we have for PWM duty cycle is ~0.2% (1/512).

If DRV10974 meets the voltage and current requirements that is a good device to use.

Do we have a device with a PWM duty cycle of 0.2% and the sensor front end like the DRV10970 has?

Florian,

Unfortunately we don't have another sensored device similar to DRV10970. The only device that you might look at is DRV8308, however, this is a gate driver and has a speed loop so not as straight forward.
