DRV8432: OC-ADJ resistor outer specifications

Hello,

our customer is successfully using DRV8432 in his application and would like to ask to use a 16K resistor as OC-ADJ-resistor, to obtain more output current. Is that possible?

I forgot to write it: the driver is in 1PFB-Mode in this application.

Hi Vitali,

The current values listed in Table 2 are per bridge. A 24k OC_ADJ resistor is ~21.4A peak current. This varies due to any mismatch in the two bridges.

If you need more current, please consider a gate driver like the DRV8701, DRV8702-Q1, or DRV8703-Q1. These devices allow you to select the FETs.
