DRV10983: EEPROM not ready message while eewrite

Part Number: DRV10983

I have connected the DRV10983-Q1 via DRV109xx software. When I am trying to load and write the .CSV configuration file. It shows, EEPROM not ready message.

    I assume you get this message when you push the eewrite button. There seems to be a bug in the GUI that gives this error message. I think you'll find that if you press the button and the power cycle the device the configuration was actually programmed into the EEPROM.

    Hi Boopathiraj, As Brian suggested this could mostly be GUI error and the EEPROM should be updated even if it shows this error after power up. However, just one follow up question. Is it TI evaluation module that you are testing or is it your custom board? If it is custom board, please make sure current rating of inductor used at VREG is at least 0.25A. I have seen some cases where the inductor saturated due to low current rating, because of which I2C hangs up. This could also show EEPROM write error.
