DRV10983EVM: Software DRV109xxEVM.exe is not useable.

Our FIREFOX browser did remove the .zip extension. After adding the extension, unpacking and installing I started “DRV109xxEVM.exe”

It showed the messages You can find below this text..

Then we uninstalled the software and installed a new downloaded copy from the TI site.

The result was the same. The software can’t be used.

    Hey Edelbert,

    I also found that Firefox strips the file extension as well, however, I found the Chrome does not have this problem.

    Unfortunately, I was not able to recreate the behavior you are seeing and we have not seen an error message like this before. As a result, I have some recommendations regarding the installation process:

    • Please ensure that the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 2014 was correctly installed
    • Please run the DRV109xx GUI software in adminstrator mode
      • This will eliminate any errors when the GUI tries to use the Labview functionality
    • Please reinstall the DRV109xx GUI software after the Labview Run Time engine has been correctly installed
