LM48580: Can drive piezo speaker to 18Vp-p at 5.5KHz square wave?

Hi Team,

We use the piezo speaker as attached. It needs to work at 5.5KHz with 18Vpp square wave.

We check LM48580 data sheet figure3 and figure4, LM48580 seems can not reach 18Vpp output requirement.

Do you have any recommended piezo speaker driver that can drive attached piezo speaker?

Those figures show the LM48560 THD+N response at 18Vpp, 25Vpp, and 30Vpp.. I am not sure you are reading the graph correctly.
I looked at the attached piezo speaker and it is rated for 85Vpp. If you want to drive with a more powerful driver, use the DRV2700 or DRV2667. These can provide 85Vpp output drive.

I refer to LM48580 data sheet, not LM48560.

According to LM48580 data sheet figure3,4. It can not meet 18Vpp at 5.5KHz.

Seems DRV2700 can meet this requirement.

I understand, my mistake. Yes, the LM48580 cannot achieve 18Vpp with a 6uF capacitive load. Achieving the frequency is very dependent on the load capacitance.
Your piezo speaker specifies capacitance = 160nF. The LM48580 may be able to drive this small load up to 18Vpp.
