DRV8302: Regarding the current shunt amplifiers

Hi,

Why is the output of the current amplifier (in this case SO1) shuts down? What may have an impact on shutting down SO1? I have two similar boards using DRV8302, and currently am studying why one of the boards is not powering the motor. Found out that the good board have steady SO1 output, while the bad board, just few seconds after powering up, the SO1 output will slowly go low.

SO1 output gradually goes down after powering the board.

Please help advise, thank you.

Hi Nor,

I am assuming these two boards are identical custom boards. Is that correct?

If so, please:
1) confirm you have a proper connection to the Power Pad. without this connection the device will not operate properly
2) perform an A/B comparison of all input and power pins to confirm the signals and voltages match
3) perform an A/B comparison of all outputs to confirm the signals match

Yes they are identical custom boards.
