I would like to make sure that DRV8308 EVM comes with the latest rev b version of DRV8308 before my purchasing of it. could you please confirm it?

I still don't know which part, rev b or rev a chip (DRV8308) on the evaluation board sold by TI. I guess I will find out after I receiving my board.

from what I learned that I will be able to tell which version after receiving board and look at the letters on the chip.

to those who want to buy DRV8308 EVM board: I just received my EVM board and the chip on that DRV8308 chip on that board is older version (rev A), which behaves slightly different compared to rev B version chip. Need to return it!

Hello Hong,

I believe we have updated our stock in the TI Store with the new device revision, so I would recommend ordering from there. Distributors who carry our EVM many still be shipping stock with the old revision.

I bought the EVM from TI store and that is why I asked the question and tried to get the answer before I placed the order. I already accidentally bought a board with old rev from other vendor and hope for the best from TI store.
