Hello TI team,

I am using drv10983-Q1 for fuel pump application. I am facing issue while starting the pump. The motor spins and stops and I observed Fault 0 in DRV20983-Q1 EVM software, connected through USB2ANY. So I have changed power supply and it is working. I am observed the similar issue with different power supply and battery.

Kindly guide us to arrive the root cause.

    We haven't seen the issue before where the current limit fault will appear on one power supply, but we have a few possible suggestions:

    1) Make sure your settings of Vcc and current limit are the same across all power supplies, so there is an apples to apples comparison.

    2) It is possible that one power supply is much noisier on voltage than the other, so the current will hit the limit. Maybe take a scope capture of the Vcc and compare the two.

    3) Possibly easiest option is to change the motor gui settings so that the current limit doesn't trigger on any power supplies. You can:

    a) increase the current limit lock value or remove the current limit lock. Even if you disable the current limit lock, there is still an internal overcurrent protection at 3.5A to protect the device, which is above the 3.2A current limit lock max.

    b) change the other motor tuning parameters to make spinning more optimal and use less current. We have a motor tuning guide (
