Hi ALL:

now I find out a question that the BEMF of DRV8711 is not any change by changing the VDIV of the stall register,I don't understand why is this?

Hi Darren,

For this case, it's recommended to use the external stall option by toggling EXSTALL on which will allow you to take measurements on the BEMF pin. As a precaution, setting VDIV to maximum (32) is recommended when taking initial measurements.

For more information, refer to section 7.3.10.2 in the DRV8711 datasheet and also section 9 in the tuning guide.
