Is the auto calibration process only required for the closed loop mode? We are using the drv2605 in the ERM open loop mode.

    Hi Kanuu,

    Welcome to e2e.
    That's correct, the auto-level calibration can only run on closed loop mode as it needs the back-EMF feedback.
    If using the device in open loop mode the calibration cannot be run so it is not needed.
