DRV8353R: Thermal Pad Dimensions

Hi,


We need to put the layout information into cadence.  However I cannot find the thermal pad dimensions / information.  When I look at the package symbol information on ti.com it tells me to look in the data sheet for the details on the thermal pad.  When I look in the data sheet I do not see the information I require. 

Can you tell me the thermal PAD dimensions?

    Sorry for the inconvenience. We will have to find this information, and should have it by Friday.

    We have also requested that a .bxl file be created for the devices. A .bxl file is a generic schematic symbol and layout footprint (including the thermal pad) that can be converted into various CAE/CAD packages. This should be available some time next week in the Quality and Packaging tab of the product folder.

    Hi Mark,

    Thank you for checking. It is turning into a longer task than we anticipated. I expect the .bxl files will be available by next Friday, but I do not know about the thermal pad dimensions.

    There is one place to look that I failed to mention.

    The DRV8353RSx-EVM Design files are now available as an example layout. These Altium files can be ported to your CAE/CAD package or can be viewed using Altium. The thermal pad dimensions and recommended via patterns are available there.
