Hi Sir 

I saw DRV8842 thermal shutdown can be recover automatic 

May I know OCP can be recover automatic ? or do you have any suggestion for OCP auto-recover on DRV8842

    Hi Kai,

    OCP can be recovered by:
    1) monitoring the nFAULT output with an mcu and determining the proper action.
    2) connecting the nFAULT to the nRESET pin. This will reset the OCP.

    NOTE: if using method 2, it is recommended to allow time for the FETs to cool prior to re-activating the outputs. This can be done by adding a RC filter on the nRESET input, with a recommended minimum pulse width of 5ms.
