DRV8303: C phase low side output(GL_C) doesn't have output

Hi ,

I am using drv8303 control 48V BLDC. The current status is no load. It's only 0.3A current. I am trying to adjust PWM duty cycle to control speed. But the Phase C lower side doesn't have output after the motor is running for a while.

Attached the DRV8303 schematic parts. Could you help me to find the reason?

Li,

Have you tried this on a second device or board? I don't see why Phase C LS would stop working.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your replying. Yes, I tried 5 devices. Most of the time Phase C stopped working first and then Fault/GVDD_UV happened. Could you give me some hints how to prevent this happen?

Hi Adam,

I found the issue. The commutation table disordered. Then clamped too much energy to the lower sides and then damaged the driver.
