DRV8829: EVM setting to drive DC Motor

Hi Team,

Can DRV8829EVM drive a DC Motor by using the software CPG006-DRV8828/29 EVM GUI?
If yes, could you let me know how to set the GUI software?

    Hi Ninomiya-san,

    Yes, the DRV8829EVM can control two DC motors.

    Please refer to sections 4.1 through 4.3 of the user guide ( www.ti.com/.../slmu002.pdf )

    Once the EVM is connected by pressing "Connect" as described in section 4.1 , use the GPIO controls and the DAC to control the motor.

    PHASE controls the direction
    ENABLE enables the outputs
    VREF sets the maximum current
    I4 through I0 set the percentage of the maximum current (from 0x0 = 0% to 0x1F = 100%)
