    Hi Joern - average gate drive current is 30mA. To calculate FET capability use the relationship

    Avg Gate drive current = Qg x Freq x (number of FET's switched per cycle)

    For trap/block control , number of FET's switched per cycle : 2 or 3

    For  Since/FOC , number of FET's switched per cycle : 6
