DRV8823: DRV8823 OCP question

Hi Team

Could you help check this qusetion ?

1. The DRV8823 sets its constant current upper limit value by ISEN resistor. 
 When the ISEN resistor is open or short-circuited at both ends, is the DRV8823 OCP function working on 1.5A~4.5A or OCP function will be disable ?

2. The range of OCP 1.5 to 4.5A is wide. Is there any way to limit it? Does it refer to the OCP protection threshold in the full temperature range?

    1. According to the IC block diagram, the OCP detection is not relied on ISEN resistor. So, ISEN setting should not block the OCP function.
    2. The spec parameter should be operating at free-air temperature range. This release product should cover most operation temperature range What is your full temperature range? If it is very high or low, I would need to check with other team to find out data. But, that could take some time, specially in holiday season.

    I just checked the characterization data. The test temperature range covered -40C to +85C. So, 1.5A~4.5A OCP should be good for temperature range from -40C to 85C.
