I have a DRV8301-HC-EVM Rev D kit. and I have a circuit of DRV8301-HC-EVM Rev D kit.

I wonder why kit'circuit didn't use buckconverter of drv8301.

I believe your question is why the DRV8301-HC-EVM Rev D kit does not use the VCC_5V output directly. The control card supports a 3.3V MCU which is the reason there is an additional LDO on the board to step down to 3.3V

I understand that buckconverter output 3.3V is possible in drv8301.
I wonder why kit'circuit didn't use buckconverter of drv8301.

Perhaps, I don't understand the question clearly so maybe a picture is better . The VCC_5V is generated by the buck converter.

There are no restrictions on using the buck converter. You may refer to the datasheet of TPS54160 for details on the buck converter that is in DV8301

The following is part of DRV8301 pin datasheet.

PH 50,51, O, The source of the internal high side MOSFET of buck converter.

Q1. where is the internal high side MOSFET?
Q2. I think PH pin is output pin. Is that right?
