DRV8803: parallel output configuration

Hi,

My customer asked if the DRV8803 can be configured with paralleled output as modified diagram below for high output current up to 2A.
And he want to know about the absolute maximum rating for the channel input pin (IN1, IN2, IN3, IN4).
Please help me to answer to my customer’s questions.

    Hi DY,

    The configuration shown should work. The load may not be equally shared due to Rdson variation, but the device power dissipation will be lower.

    The absolute maximum of the IN1 through IN4 is 7V, and is listed under "Digital input pin voltage"
