DRV10975EVM: NEED TO USB2ANY

I'm new in DRV10... IC's and USB2ANY.

I want to use "DRV10975EVM" but i don't know that can i use it in open loop and close loop without USB2ANY.

is USB2ANY just a programmer?? i mean can we disconnect it after loading the setting and then control the motor completely

in open or close loop with POT ?????

1) You can use the DRV10975EVM to drive a motor without USB2ANY. USB2ANY is only used to set register settings through I2C. You can set speed commands without USB2ANY through a separate device that communicates with I2C, with just an analog voltage, or through a pwm signal. These different speed control modes are mentioned in the datasheet (www.ti.com/.../drv10975.pdf).
