DRV8873: Fault indication of ITRIP

Hello,

Regarding the hardware version of the device(DRV8873H),
can we have a fault indication on the nFAULT pin when the current reached ITRIP level ?

Hi Itabi-san,

The DRV8873H does not provide this information. ITRIP is designed to regulate current and is considered normal operation.

The DRV8873S has the ability to provide this information. When the ITRIP_REP bit in the IC2 Control Register is set to 1, the DRV8873S will report when Io > ITRIP_LVL.
