DRV8308EVM: Unable to run the motor

I am not able to run the motor in any of the modes. When ever i click enable in the GUI, FAULTn lights up.

Hi Adam

The motor working fine with already installed GUI. I was able to spin the motor in the OPEN LOOP PWM MODES ie with clock from from the microcontrolller as well as from the register SPEED and in SPEED CONTROL MODE (closed loop control). But after a few hours when i again checked the working, the FAULTn light in the DRV8308 EVM board is lighting up and the motor had a jerking motion. I don't think its the problem with the GUI as the motor was spinning in both the modes earlier.

I tried with the new GUI and still the motor is not spinning

Abhiram,

Have you tried restarting your PC, removing EVM USB and power, reconnecting everything, and starting the GUI again?

I have tried restarting my PC, removinG EVM USB, Power and reconnecting everything , and starting the GUI again. Still the motor is not spinning and immediately after clicking enable the FAULTn is lighting up.
