Hello team,

When you get a chance can you help with below customer question:

We have a design that needs an H-Bridge that can handle 24V up to 25Amps. A previous project I used the DRV8412 with great success, and when I saw its big brother the DRV8432 I considered using it. The problem is the 25A. So would it be possible to parallel 2 – DRV8432 devices fed with the same PWM?

Hi Ranhir,

It is not recommended to attempt paralleling two DRV8432 devices. Timing differences may create unintended consequences.

We have several gate drivers, such as the DRV8701 or DRV8704 that can control external FETs. If the voltage is acceptable, the use of external FETs will provide lower RDSon to minimize power losses through the FETs. This can reduce or remove the need for external heat sinks to the device.
