DRV8343-Q1: available Gate Drive qualified for -55°C

Part Number: DRV8343-Q1

Hello,

I would like to get more information about the part DRV8343-Q1, which seems to be feasible for our application.

One requirement is to have it qualified for -55°C up to 125°C, and I know TI has a lot of parts that can work below -40°C.

Is it planned to release a 3 phase gate driver that works at -55°C ?

Please contact me on my business email !

Thank You !

  • Hello,

Our automotive gate drivers are typically designed for AEC-Q100 Grade 1 (-40°C to 125°C ambient operating temperature) or Grade 0 (-40°C to 150°C ambient) qualification.

Does your device need to be automotive-qualified, or is temperature the primary requirement for your system? Are there any other key specs/functions you're looking for when selecting the device?

    Thanks,
    Garrett
  • Hello Garrett,

There are multiple reasons for selecting DRV8343-Q1.
    - extended operational range, above 35V
    - powerful gate drive current ~1A is required
    - AEC-Q100 is of course a plus
    - operating temperature range is also required -55°C (aerospace industry)

If would be perfect, if you could put me in contact, with the responsible field application engineer, for the 3-phase bridge drivers IC !
Please contact me on my company email, used as login on this forum !
