DRV8711EVM: driver library

I am controlling DRV8711EVM with it is own GUI which is available on TI.com and it is working fine. However, I need to interface DRV8711EVM board with Matlab or C++ in order to control the stepper motor with my program. Is there any library available to do that?

Hi Ali,

Sorry, there is not. The EVM was designed to operate with the GUI provided.

Hi Rick,

Thank you for the reply. There is python script option available in GUI. Is it possible to use python for communicating with board and automation? Or the script is only being used in the GUI for recording and replaying?

Hi Ali,

My apologies. I was thinking about an earlier version of the GUI that used GUI composer.

I am not familiar with the script, but the EVM user guide makes it appears it is only used in the GUI.
