DRV8308: DRV8308 IC Speed Control with SPDMODE 0

Hi,

I'm using DRV8308 and drive a motor which is THOMAS 600490F. I drive it with SPDMODE 1 and it work well but i want to drive it with SPDMODE 0 with speed control. I drive it without speed control. Which register should i change?

SPDMODE is register 0x00, bits 5 and 4. Please check the datasheet:

i have read the datasheet and seen that spdmode has to be 00 . I can not seem to change speed of motor, hall sensor frequency is always around 80 hz. Changing filk1,filk2 and compk1 compk2,loopgain, intregisters does not change anything. Which of thoose register have effect on motor speed and what happens when autogain bit is set.

The filters, compensation, and loop gain are only effects on the speed loop and it's performance, not the speed itself.

In SPDMODE 00, you are in Clock Frequency mode, you will need to vary the input frequency on CLKIN between 0 Hz and 90kHz to change the speed of the output.
